Youth Softball

Softball is offered for girls ages 5 through 16. The birthday cutoff date is January 1. Registration is typically held Jan thru Feb with the season running from the beginning of April through May.  Girls ages 5-8 register through the Destrehan Booster Club. Girls ages 9-16 years old register through the recreation department website and are required to participate in a mandatory evaluation process prior to the start of the season for drafting purposes.
