7/16/2020 Update/Changes: UPDATES/CHANGES TO FALL SPORTS 2020
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we go through this very confusing time in our country's history. The St. Charles Parish Recreation Department and Destrehan Booster Club are doing everything we can to make sure that the health and safety of all players and coaches are at the forefront of all decisions made to move forward with our fall sports. Please read below for a few changes to the fall season in order to insure your child's safety.
1. Registration Date has moved back to August 14th. This will be the closing of the registration and we will not be able to accept any further registrations after that date due to uniform orders. At this time, the season start date is still mid September.
2. Tackle Football is combining with Flag Football for this year only. If you are currently registered to play TACKLE, we have automatically moved you to FLAG. If you do not wish to play FLAG, please email email@example.com to ask for your refund.
3. 11/12 Flag and 13/14 Flag will combine into one age group 11-14. If you registered in either age group, we have automatically moved you to 11-14. If you do not wish to play 11-14, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to ask for your refund.
As mentioned in our previous email. we are still moving forward and the earlier you register, the quicker we can create your team. Please do not wait!
Thank you again for your patience and understanding,
Destrehan Booster Club
7/13/2020 Update: Because you asked....will there be a fall sports season?
As of now, we have not been told anything otherwise and we are moving forward. The recreation department is planning on meeting with all booster clubs before we order uniforms to make sure everything is 100% going forward.
So that we can be prepared to move forward, we suggest you register before the July 18 deadline. If we can not have season, we will issue refunds (not credit).
